BLUNN. Architects are a progressive contemporary architectural practice, based in Winchester, Hampshire. We specialise in designing high quality modern architecture and work for a range of different clients and in different sectors. We welcome projects of all size, including extensions, new builds and commercial developments.

We strive to deliver intelligent, pragmatic and original solutions that respond to the unique aspects of each project. Our Architects have enthusiasm for creative design and effective project delivery. We aspire to exceed expectations with all our projects. Quality is integral to all of our work, as is a passion for working expressively with materials with a rigorous attention to detail. 

Approach

We always aim to offer value to our clients through intelligent design and effective project delivery. We seek to work with clients who share our value in design excellence, and want to create thoughtful, responsive architecture that is of its place and time. 

Our designs are very site specific and respond to the unique aspects of the site and surrounding context. Whilst our designs are contemporary in style, we often draw inspiration from the local vernacular, using local building materials and construction techniques, and reinterpret them in a modern way. 

We are passionate about sustainability and we alway strive to deliver projects which use building resources responsibly and are energy efficient in their use. We have delivered a number of passive haus certified houses and believe this to be the future of residential design.

In our first five years in practice we have gained a reputation for the development of beautiful, luxury pool houses and wellness suites, this is an area where the human interaction with the building is at its most direct. We work with industry leading pool suppliers and offer the latest in wellness design.
